Time to get weird or witty

'This week's challenge to help you hone your writing skills, so you can get well-paying freelance writing work from across the web.'

So far, in this May challenge, you’ve written friendly, fiery, and heartfelt. Now let’s lighten it up.

Your Challenge: Write something playful, funny, or offbeat. Try a story with a twist, a pun-filled piece, or something with absurd honesty.

Or you could try writing dad jokes.  Honestly, it’s harder than it looks, but when you get one, it can be funny enough to make your week.

Like this one for my Menopause Effect newsletter (my hat's off to Eli Wood for this one).

Need a joke to lift your mood?
Q: What was the menopausal woman’s favorite food?
A: Chili

Or here’s an example of just plain weird:

“The client ghosted me. So naturally, I wrote them a haiku.”

Humor is a muscle. Stretch it. Surprise yourself.

All the best.
