Take a stand and mean it

'This week's challenge to help you hone your writing skills, so you can get well-paying freelance writing work from across the web.'

If you joined in our May challenge last week, you’ve already tried your hand at writing like a friendly human with a unique voice (instead of a ChatGPT clone).

Now it’s time to crank up the volume and give your writing a spine (yes, a spine).

Yellow autumn leaves on green grass lining a path. This challenge is sponsored by Kit, my favorite platform for starting a writer-friendly newsletter. It's free to start, easy to use and built for people who want to write, not fight with the tech.

Your Challenge: Write a bold, opinionated piece. Take a stand. It can be about writing, the industry, the economy, your kid's toys all over the floor, or whatever fires you up.

Can’t come up with anything?  Try writing about an argument you’ve just had.  Something like …

“Honestly, if you think having to do your share of the housework is unfair, it’s time for you to think about getting your own place!”

Write like you’ve got something to say (because you do).
