Nobody’s Reading You Yet? That's Perfect

Providing the resources you need for your freelance writing journey

Yesterday I went down to the local library in the little rural town I'm living in for the next few weeks. And I got myself a temporary member's card. That little card is worth gold. Literally. It cost me a $60 deposit in case I damage any books I check out.

That's not likely to happen. Libraries are my happy place. I can spend hours scanning book titles, reading snatches of chapters and deciding which books to cart home. And once they are home I look after them.

This morning I spent a happy quarter of an hour scanning through the titles of a bunch of newsletters. Newsletters on a topic that's near and dear to my heart ... menopause. I was looking for newsletters that I could share with the people who read my Menopause Effect newsletters. Newsletters that might help make the menopause journey just a little bit easier.

And I thought about how easy it is for someone with a bit of expertise to share their knowledge. And make such a difference. All through a newsletter.
